Question Regarding Stray

Post by Butterfly »

Hehe, already a question. Sorry to pester everyone, feel free to take your time answering this.

I was just wondering, for Stray's stats, it says: Warrior (Apis)

And I know what Warrior is, which is good. xD I was just wondering, what does Apis mean?

Thank you! :bubbles:

Apis is an Egyptian mythological creature, and Stray has similar characteristics, having bull horns. Warriors are based (loosely) off mythological creatures, so basically it's just specifying which. It really means nothing in the long run, it's just a fun stat ^^;

This is the text I was using when naming Stray... :)

"Apis (Bull) The intermediary between the Human and Divine worlds, son of Isis and the living incarnation of Ptah. He appeared on earth in successive incarnations as a bull, entirely black save for a small white spot on the forehead, and dwelling in His temple at Memphis in great state. Each successive bull was mummified and buried in the royal necropolis at Saqqara."
