Trust me, I know she puts a lot of time and love into these pieces. >_> And about detail loss - trying to retain the detailing of Satomi's glitter hooves would be a struggle between optimizing and sizing and all the other possible complications. Wasn't it while you were working on her, Foxx, that you said it's gotten to where it takes about an hour per square inch? Yikes, that's some love!

Like I said, I hadn't even *considered* it would be classified as editing it. Now that I know the detailing I'll go about fixing it, of course. It wasn't even the "this needs fixed, just so everyone is aware" because for some of the rules the clarification was really helpful. It was bringing up abandonment that got my hackles up, and so has the "we could be meaner," especially since mistakes happen. Intentionally and knowingly breaking the guidelines is completely different from "oh yeah - whoops!"

It is nice to know that, if all else fails, a full sized link would be accepted, Foxx. It's great that you really are willing to try and work with us. :) And the clarification that the main point honestly was "oh, this has been noticed and needs fixed" helps a lot, too - it makes perfect sense that those who can't ever get to be in compliance due to being nonactivr would be the ones at risk of abandonment, because it *does* need fixed. :)

I am honestly going to try my best to simply get the full sizes up there, though - with the new HTML editor I'm pretty sure I have an option to skip their automatic scaling. ^_^ And since you're ok with frames I can think of all sorts of embellishments to show the lovelies a bit of extra love - a wooden look with vinework for Oakheart, for example! I'm sort of getting excited about that stark white background now, lol. Besides, it really helps show off those transparent/fade out parts you've gotten so good at a *lot* better. ^_^ I plan on trying to get it all fixed at some point tonight - luckily I just started my weekend!

Thanks for the clarification, Tigs! Brittle, Id, Mistral and Astarte now have snippets up, and I'll work on getting the rest posted before the 18th :D

Songhue- To be honest, this was mostly put up for the people who have upcoming potential abandons, because some of them are due to paging issues and not missing URLs. Though the same thought is there in the sense that if an active member were to continue to disregard the rules continually past this point, that kind of intentional rulebreaking would lead to abandonment. We knew some rules may have been hazy and there was never really a heads-up given yet so this is kind of the heads-up for active members and last chance for inactive members combined into one I guess 8D.

I also didn't say we could be meaner, I did however say "we could actually be significantly More strict about it, but are trying to give people as many opportunities as possible to keep their lovelies while being a bit more professional about the rules" which I think I explained fairly well but I can try again: I was trying to say that the rules themselves state that Foxx could technically take back a bunch from all of us (even me XD) since we theoretically should know better, but fortunately she's not that mean :bubbles: .

It seems like there are a lot of options now for you to work with so I hope you find something that isn't really site-breaking!

Silverdust- as long as you have at least a paragraph up by the 18th then you're fine! Since a full story isn't required, anything beyond that first paragraph is "as you wish" and so there's no time limits :)

I think the only thing I need to work on right now is their stories/descriptive, which I have been looking at. When the last website crashed I lost all of their stories I had up and have been struggling to get a good solid chunk of time to hash that out. Foxx and Tigs, if there is another something I need to fix and am not aware of please shoot me a PM and let me know so I can get that done. As of right now the month deadline should be fine but if I'm struggling to get the last few done in time I will ask for an extension, but I don't think it'll come to that. Thanks ladies!

Oh! Also, with the description of their home, as my serians are all in a realm together can I just post a descriptive of the realm on my welcome page with a little summery of the environment they each like on individual pages? Or do I need to work in the whole realm description on each page?

Keira- I'll take a look over your pages later but I'm pretty sure 99% of the current issues for active adopters are just getting those little descriptions up :). You can write whatever you'd like, wherever you like, just so long as there is a paragraph at least on the stat pages, describing either the Serian's personality, their setting, an interaction with them, etc. It can be some or all of those things but in terms of content there's no real rule, just so long as it relates to the Serian in some way! Sometimes I do a personality snippet, sometimes I do a setting/interaction, but to directly answer the question: no, you don't need to describe your realm on every single stat page. My Serians' home realm has a few different environments and biomes, so I sometimes describe which "area" they're in but it's all personal preference!

Ah, that's completely different than the impression I got! Thanks for being so patient with me - I was trying *not* to be tch-chy. >_< I'd say sorry that it came across any way, but since y'all have been so amazing about it the end result has things making a lot more sense. I could have sworn mercury was in retrograde... >_>;; Issues all over the place, for me.

I'm pulling up everyone for a proper replacement now. Hubby's been staying up extra late with me - sweet, but hindering.

Edit:
I'm finding a lot of my bondeds that *do* have a transparent background, already - Tribe, Thyme, Thorn, Shiro Suisei, Nova, Firefly, Caustic, Caelum, and BlackIce all have transparency (right at half of them) both when I do a search on the main site and open their image in a new tab, or if I view them via the adopter's info login screen. So, that brings the question - do I simply untick the alpha channel so that the transparency turns white, or would that also be editing? Personally I'd rather not have a hodgepodge where some are framed and some are simply without a background at all, but that's currently what I'm looking at. :dies:
